We are very fortunate that the Pine Rivers Netball Association have been so gracious to offer us to use their courts to get the 2022 season up and going in this time of need. It so heart warming the wider netball community can band together to help each other out. In the true Australian spirit.
With the devastation of the floods, and now the massive clean-up felt by many, the earliest the Fire Brigade can get to the CNA courts is next week to hose off the sand, dirt and sludge. Once cleaned, CNA will be able to assess if the court/s are usable and/or need repair. Fingers crossed it very minimal damage if any.
CNA’s plan is this will only be a move for 1 week to PRNA; however, at this stage they cannot guarantee this until the courts are cleaned and inspected. The safety of players, coaches and spectators are at their foremost of course and will seek an independent assessment.
The first round will be held next Sunday 13th March at PRNA @ Les Hughes Sporting Complex, 119 Francis Rd, Lawnton QLD 4501, Australia. Games time will be posted on the Netball Connect App and your coach will let you know of course.
This isn’t ideal, but please understand this is not going to be for the entire season and CNA can only do what they do and is in their realms of possibility.
